In this virtual lecture, Christopher M. Span, educational historian, Chief of Staff, and Associate Chancellor for Administration and PreK-12 Initiatives at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will highlight key profiles of courage who espoused anti-racist thought and action which led to the dismantling of legalized slavery, segregation, and racism in the United States. The discussion will emphasize the evolutionary and revolutionary process and collective intelligence needed to truly upend racism in the United States.
