New Jersey Immigrant Trust Directive Symposium

Join Rutgers Center for Immigration Law, Policy, and Justice as we present research on the Directive’s implementation that is based upon publicly disclosed records obtained from over three hundred law enforcement agencies throughout the state. It brings state government leaders, immigrant community advocates, and scholars into a conversation about the state of local law enforcement cooperation in immigration control and about measures that the state can take to ensure full implementation of the Directive. The symposium will also discuss a new state-level bill, the Values Act, which seeks to codify much of the Directive’s prohibitions in law.
