Racial Healing Circle: Redefining & Rebuilding Inclusive Communities
The Truth, Racial Healing Circle, and Transformation (TRHT) Center at Rutgers University - Newark facilitated over 125 Racial Healing Circles impacting the lives of 1800+ individuals since its inception in 2018.

Racial Healing Circles are opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to come together and connect their shared humanity through story telling. It is a safe, brave, and responsible space and place where people recognize they have more in common than different. It is the beginning process of dismantling our bias beliefs system through a shared humanity perspective.

The theme for the 2022-23 academic year aligns with the TRHT pillar racial healing and relationship building; Racial Healing Circle: Redefining and Rebuilding Inclusive Communities. As people, we all operate, live, work, and play in different communities. Are your communities a welcoming environment for all people? If not, how do we redefine and rebuilding diverse and inclusive communities where all people experience psychological and physical freedom and safety.
