Code-switching involves adjusting one’s style of speech, appearance, behavior, and expression in ways that will optimize the comfort of others in exchange for fair treatment, quality service, and employment opportunities. Very often, people code-switch — both consciously and unconsciously — to act or talk more like those around them.

Join Brandon Quiles, a Rutgers-Camden School of Business alumni, for an interactive workshop to explore the ins and outs of code-switching.
